We're looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer to play a key role in shaping future customer interactions with Fire TV, Alexa, and more. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing fundamental features for the Live TV client application. Researching, prototyping, and launching cutting-edge software features. Building scalable solutions that cater to millions of monthly active users. Contributing to technical decisions that influence Fire TV's Live platform. Creating integration points between Live TV, Alexa, and other essential Fire TV services. Ensuring high-quality software delivery by working collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment. This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of products that are utilized daily by customers around the world. You will be part of a high-visibility team, focusing on enhancing customer experiences. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of Android development experience. 3+ years in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Our compensation package varies based on geographic location, market conditions, and your experience, with a base salary range of $129,300/year to $223,600/year, along with equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
