Amazon Infrastructure Engineering seeks a Software Development Engineer to develop our fulfillment center infrastructure, focusing on building systems for centers handling millions of orders daily. The Operations Technology team enhances core infrastructure used by thousands of Amazonians, IP-enabled devices, robots, and other user devices globally. Join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment working closely with system and software engineers to secure and optimize our facilities' technology. The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing in native AWS environments, with a broad understanding of cloud and information systems, including cloud infrastructure and design, especially AWS. Strong relationship skills, patience, and humor are key to success. Daily Responsibilities Collaborate with Network, Wireless, and Deployment Engineering teams to create and improve tools and automation for site build and decommission processes.
