As a software developer in this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with various teams within Amazon to contribute to this new experience, build new APIs and partner with scientists along the way. You will have an opportunity to work with senior engineers on the team for development of a unique and engaging feature to be used by millions of customers. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Sharp problem solving skills and ability to convert ambiguous requirements to structured solutions and actions Experience communicating requirements and technical designs with both technical and non-technical audience including leadership Experience with Amazon Web Services, Machine Learning & Advertising is a plus Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
