: At Regions, the Software Engineer Manager oversees application development for a large or complex department within the company. This position manages strategy development to ensure the application portfolio meets current business requirements and is operational, stable, reliable, and technically mature. Primary Responsibilities Manages all aspects of system design, development, deployment, acquisition, and ongoing maintenance for all application systems within area of responsibility Serves as the primary technology contact for senior management from all areas of the organization in developing technology solutions that increase the efficiency of internal business functions, resolves business problems, and supports the pursuit of business opportunities for area of responsibility Creates and refines operational processes and systems to ensure effective regulatory and audit compliance Applies interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility of all interfaces Supports the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements through management processes This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field Eight (8) years of relevant experience Two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience Preferences Experience in Technology role in banking or financial services industry Skills and Competencies Ability to manage multiple projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills Strong organizational skills Additional job detail for this specific opportunity Strong technical background with knowledge of Cloud systems, Distributed applications, APIs, microservices and Databases Knowledge of/experienced in leading teams with strong DevOps practices Knowledge of/experienced n leading teams through Test automations Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work /communicate with leadership teams Excellent problem solving skills Experienced in managing large teams and delivery of large projects Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: $160,754.55 USD$215,490.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
