Your Role The AWS Application Security Team is seeking a motivated engineer to craft innovative automation tools and generative AI workflows. You will help fortify security measures for our customers while overseeing critical security reviews in collaboration with AWS Product Teams. This role requires you to embrace ambiguity, engage in problem-solving, and mentor junior engineers, making you a security thought leader within the organization. Key Responsibilities Design, build, document, and test software solutions for the AppSec Review program. Provide software development expertise in support of AWS Security initiatives. Analyze ambiguous problems and create data-driven solutions. Act as a liaison among business leaders and technical staff across the organization. Demonstrate superior judgment, integrity, business acumen, and communication skills. Prepare and present detailed technical information to both internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. 2+ years of design or architecture experience related to new and existing systems. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. 3+ years of experience in Java, Python, C#, Ruby on Rails, or C++ development. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
