Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within the Productivity Solutions and Services business at Honeywell. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

Understand, estimate, review, and resolve software/build/field/internal requests.

Work with internal leadership, project management, and offering teams to estimate and plan product updates and feature requests.

Design, develop and work with internal and external teams on creation and deployment of new features.

Convey results of design investigations to stakeholders in order to help drive future product direction.

YOU MUST HAVE

6+ years of software development or software engineering experience

4+ years of object-oriented development experience

4+ years of advanced software development experience with Java, C#, or comparable

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science

Experience with Honeywell Voice-based products or related technologies.

Android Mobile application development experience.

Experience in developing applications using various development tools/systems (e.g. Git, C#, .NET, experience with MAUI a plus)

Ability to support full software lifecycle activities including supporting/addressing customer and field escalations, troubleshooting, and patch releases.

Supply chain experience.

Practical knowledge and use of development IDEs and source code tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with Continuous Software Delivery and Deployment

Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools/practices (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)

Experience with source control and bug tracking tools (e.g. GitHub, BitBucket, Jira)

Experience with data analytics and/or machine learning tools.

Experience executing Agile software methodology

Knowledge of test-driven development

Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
