We are looking for a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to partner with Architecture to build out operational support of AI. The Sr. IT Systems Engineer is responsible for constructing creative and logical detailed designs based on architectural guidance. This position requires being a deep subject matter expert and performing activities to support secured IT infrastructure. The role also involves managing work direction, leading, and influencing other engineers to achieve results. Responsibilities Partner with AI Architecture to build out operational support of AI. Design, build, and support applications in AWS using services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Containers. Have significant experience with core AWS services (VPC, CloudWatch, compute, networking, storage). Collaborate with IT and product teams to understand and develop project scope and solutions. Write and support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation). Identify, develop, and implement automation opportunities. Develop and promote standards within the team. Manage work direction, lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to team members. Oversee execution of strategic initiatives. Create logical designs based on architectural reviews. Serve as a collaborative link between engineers and management. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required. Proven effective communication with diverse audiences. Experience relevant to the team’s domain. At least 5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies and Cloud AI Services. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Security knowledge relevant to the domain. ITIL Foundations Certification. Interest in management and leadership roles. Physical Demands Ability to travel up to 10%. Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and shifts outside core hours. Physical ability to sit, use hands, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
