We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-level network security systems in a healthcare environment. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding patient data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating secure clinical operations. Network Security & Infrastructure
Design, implement, and manage Cisco ISE for secure network access across clinical and administrative environments. Administer and optimize ORDR for IoT and medical device monitoring and control Develop network segmentation strategies compliant with HIPAA, NIST, and healthcare standards Maintain Cisco network hardware and ensure alignment with best practices Vulnerability & Incident Response Lead vulnerability management and patching processes for connected devices Partner with IT and compliance teams to meet regulatory security standards Investigate and resolve network security incidents and outages Security Strategy & Compliance Evaluate and implement tools that improve visibility, compliance, and threat detection Ensure security infrastructure meets HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, and other regulatory frameworks Maintain up-to-date documentation for network policies, systems, and configurations What We're Looking For
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred) 7+ years of experience in network engineering or network security (healthcare preferred) 3+ years of experience managing and deploying Cisco ISE Experience with ORDR or similar IoT/medical device security platforms Certifications (Preferred) CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CISSP, HCISPP, or related credentials Skills Deep understanding of enterprise networking, segmentation, and zero-trust architecture Proficiency with Cisco network devices and operating systems Familiarity with security frameworks: HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, PCI Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response best practices Scripting and automation experience (Python, Ansible) a plus Experience with tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint detection/response Why Join Us Work in a mission-driven organization focused on improving health and well-being Collaborate with a highly skilled, cross-functional IT and security team Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for growth and continuing education Working Conditions Office-based with some on-site travel to clinical facilities (as needed) Requires extended periods of computer use Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
