Job description


  • Execute all levels of Manual and Automation Testing (System, Integration, Regression, and UI automation).
  • Validate the feasibility and completeness of user stories and/or use cases/requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation scripts using Selenium (WebDriver) for regression and functional testing.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies through both manual and automated methods.
  • Apply quality engineering principles across the Agile product lifecycle.
  • Create and manage dedicated testing projects in Jira, customizing issue types such as 'Test Case,' 'Test Execution,' and 'Defect' to streamline QA efforts.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes and implement automation to increase coverage and efficiency.
Requirements


  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Manual Testing, with hands-on experience in Selenium-based test automation.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Defect Life Cycle.
  • Experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and automation framework development.
  • Exposure to requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience performing end-to-end application testing: requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with automating Web Service testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, actively participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ability to plan and execute automation testing schedules or strategies aligned with project timelines.
  • Experience in using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to integrate test automation into the development pipeline.
  • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to test planning and execution.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company success.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
