Responsibilities
Develop test plans and specifications for components of our client solutions, which include sensors, gateways, sensor management platforms, data platforms, and applications for Smart Buildings.
Create, implement, and maintain automated tests and frameworks using Python or Java.
Perform white box and black box testing.
Establish and maintain testing processes for scalable enterprise-class on-premise and SaaS applications.
Execute regression tests, analyze results, and document findings.
Assess performance, scalability, and fault tolerance of client solution components.
Report, verify, and track bugs in a timely manner.
Collaborate with engineers across different locations to identify testing needs and develop tests accordingly.
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in testing embedded real-time software, device/network management systems, SaaS applications, or Mobile Apps.
Proven ability to independently run and automate system tests, including stress, scalability, and performance testing.
Experience troubleshooting field issues and analyzing regression failures.
Proficiency in developing test suites using Python and/or Java.
Experience with Selenium and JUnit.
Knowledge of networking and network security, including switching/routing protocols, TCP/UDP protocols, BLE, 802.15.4, 802.11 standards, and vulnerability assessment tools.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
