We're looking for a talented software engineer to architect and optimize Media Access Control (MAC) layer solutions for our next-generation satellite communication platform. You'll work at the intersection of space technology and wireless communications, leveraging your expertise in:

About the team Our team tackles many critical satellite functions including power management, hardware interfaces, command & telemetry, and autonomous control. We are looking for an outstanding software engineer to participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
