How You’ll Make an Impact: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software using Python programming language.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Write clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled.
Set up CI/CD pipelines for projects and integrate them with the organization's delivery mechanisms. You May be a Good Fit if: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
You have 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
You possess in-depth understanding of Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and automation.
Familiar with front-end development and cloud-platforms/technologies offered by AWS, Microsoft Azure.
You are proficient with databases such as Postgres and Oracle, and database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. What Would Make You Stand Out: Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS-based container orchestration).
Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:  Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $130,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
