Position Overview
The Systems Integration and Test Engineer working on Network Communications (NetComms) will be responsible for end-to-end integration testing of vehicle network architecture, including physical layer testing, and participate in system-level design activities for LV systems and architecture. You will be the point person for network testing on this platform and lead bring-up activities during vehicle builds. Your role includes conceptualizing, designing, engineering, developing, and supporting the launch of next-generation electric vehicle platforms.
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Strong fundamentals in electrical and embedded systems engineering, with expertise in automotive networks and protocols
Experience testing networking hardware such as switches, controllers, transceivers, and high-speed cabling
5+ years of experience with Vehicle Network Protocols like CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
Experience with automotive network development tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, and Ethernet analysis tools
Knowledge of automotive electric architectures, including power distribution, communication networks, and vehicle electrification technologies
Solid understanding of software systems design in networking and embedded areas, covering the entire software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Experience tuning vehicle software and hardware for network physical layer performance
Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Experience leading product development from concept to deployment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, high-performing team environment
Systems approach to design and development with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement
