About the Role
As a Visual Merchandiser Manager, you contribute to an inspiring, elevated, & consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards and commercial excellence. You work with your store team to use trend awareness for visual and commercial curation, driving sales according to guidelines. You lead, coach, and develop a strong Visual Merchandiser team through upskilling to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline within your store.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include:
Contributing to the OMNI customer experience by following visual and commercial guidelines
Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions
Setting and following up on store visual & commercial goals with the store team
Leading your VM team to organize and prioritize workload based on store plans and needs
Launching global campaigns and sales activities on time
Ensuring garment care, stock levels, and input on allocation
Following sales reports to identify opportunities
Creating actions to increase customer satisfaction and meet sales targets
Adhering to procedures for OMNI services, operations, and communication
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Staying updated on fashion trends, styles, competitors, and influencers
Coaching your team on trend theory, mood boards, and styling techniques
Team & Development
Leading, inspiring, and educating your store team
Developing visual and commercial skills within your team
Supporting routines and best practices for visual & commercial standards
Managing recruitment, onboarding, performance, and talent development
Planning for future talent needs and store expansion projects
Visual & Commercial Execution
Managing visual, commercial, and styling in-store based on calendar and trends
Ensuring effective sample picking and trend storytelling
Maintaining window and store styling according to guidelines
Ensuring good customer flow and store layout maintenance
Managing signage and lighting to highlight products
Maintaining display forms and fixtures sustainably
Keeping store navigation and layout updated
Managing POS materials and store cleanliness and safety
Qualifications
Fashion-interested, curious, and creative
Proactive, solution-focused, flexible, with visual & commercial experience
Experience in store visual merchandising and team coaching
Strong leadership skills and knowledge of retail best practices
Ability to analyze sales reports and act on insights

Compensation: $21.87-$24.60 hourly. EEOC Code: SLS. Pay status: Non-Exempt, Hourly.
