AME Engineering is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for helping develop the structural system design in support of design/build projects including Industrial, Self-storage, Controlled Environments, Entertainment, Multi-Family, and other types of facilities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Design and specify structural systems including load calculations, gravity and lateral system analysis, structural details, and connections for various projects
Assist our multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver projects
Join projects with other engineering and modeling staff to deliver comprehensive structural design packages
Assist in the development of industry-leading automated design methods and tools as part of a forward-thinking, innovation-focused team of engineers and R&D staff
Work with our fabrication modeling team to facilitate successful project execution
Provide value engineering reviews and alternate design options to maximize cost savings, optimize lead times, and better execute projects
Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering program or related field of study
Prior industry internship experience is a plus
Extracurricular involvement is a plus
