Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Orange, CA. This role offers hands-on involvement in designing, analyzing, and delivering critical infrastructure projects from bridges to flood control systems while expanding your technical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities Perform structural engineering tasks including analysis, design, detailing, and plan preparation. Assist project managers on projects such as: o Transit stations (aerial/underground) o Freeway, railroad, and pedestrian bridges o Tunnels, retaining walls, and flood control structures o Aviation and utility structures, including pump plants Prepare design calculations, technical specifications, cost estimates (PS&E), and construction support documents.<BR> Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
Required Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 1 5 years of structural engineering experience. Proficiency with industry codes and standards: AASHTO, ACI, AISC, IBC, ASCE, Caltrans, Metro MRDC. Skilled in SAP2000, AutoCAD, and other structural design tools. EIT certification (California preferred).
Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Civil Engineering and/or PE license. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
