Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with deep experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support a mission-focused government program. This role is key to ensuring the performance, availability, and security of cloud-based application infrastructure that supports a critical national mission.
You’ll join a highly collaborative technical team delivering modern, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
Required Qualifications
11+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems administration
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field preferred
Strong background in Linux-based systems and network engineering principles
Deep understanding of network protocols , cloud security , and application hosting
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset
Comfortable working both independently and in fast-paced team environments
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Proficiency in ***** Python , PowerShell , or Bash
Experience with diverse cloud ***** AWS , Azure , Google Cloud , Oracle Cloud
Familiarity with SecDevOps in cloud-hosted environments
AWS Certifications (such as SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect ) strongly preferred
Prior experience supporting mission-critical, enterprise-scale cloud systems
