As a Systems Engineer Level 4, you will lead the design, development, and integration of complex computer systems, software, and networks. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, develop strategic plans, and oversee project execution from concept through deployment. Responsibilities include systems integration, testing, documentation, and providing strategic technical guidance to senior leadership. This role is ideal for a systems expert who thrives in fast-paced, highly technical environments supporting critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of system development, from design through deployment.
Define detailed system requirements, parameters, and operational processes.
Oversee system integration and testing to ensure optimal performance.
Transition systems into full operational deployment with thorough documentation and support.
Develop and maintain detailed technical and programmatic documentation.
Analyze complex technical problems and deliver briefings and recommendations to senior management.
Support data exchange and system integration across tactical, theater, and strategic operations.
Provide systems engineering counsel on new technologies and classified environments.
Evaluate readiness of new technologies for integration into ongoing programs.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to support advanced capability development.
Required Skills & Experience:</strong>
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security operations.
Strong grasp of IT systems security, IT service management (ITIL), and delivery.
Familiarity with technical areas such as programming, database administration, virtualization, and LINUX.
Experience supporting CMMI Level 3 (or higher) organizations.
Proven ability to manage and deliver high-impact, cross-functional engineering projects.
Ability to support project lifecycles, including cost, performance, schedule, and risk.
Skilled at communicating complex technical solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
Education & Certifications:</strong>
Bachelors degree with 15+ years of experience, or
Masters degree with 13+ years of experience, or
PhD/JD with 10+ years of experience.
