We are seeking a talented and versatile Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and creating SQL Server reports, managing, and developing applications in VB.NET, C#, and Node.js. The role requires a solid understanding of ERP systems and experience with Docker for containerized applications. Additionally, this position will involve working closely with third-party IT vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Reporting:

- Maintain and create SQL Server reports based on business requirements.

- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

- Collaborate with business analysts to ensure reporting meets user needs.

• Application Development:

- Develop and maintain applications using VB.NET, C#, and Node.js.

- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and code reviews.

- Work on both backend and frontend components of the applications.

• ERP System Integration:

- Manage and develop integrations with ERP systems.

- Ensure data consistency and flow between ERP systems and custom applications.

- Provide technical support for ERP-related issues.

• Docker and Containerization:

- Deploy and manage applications in Docker containers.

- Optimize Docker configurations for development and production environments.

• Vendor Management:

- Collaborate with third-party IT vendors to ensure timely delivery and support of services.

- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related technical issues.

- Ensure vendors comply with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Support and Collaboration:

- Provide support for internal IT systems and applications.

- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of software and hardware.

- Document processes and create guides for users and other developers.

• Documentation:

- Document development processes, system specifications, and user guides for future reference and updates.

• Continuous Improvement:

- Update software to integrate new features or enhancements while maintaining quality and performance standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven minimum 2-year experience in SQL Server reporting and optimization.
• Strong programming skills in VB.NET, C#, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrating custom applications with ERP.
• Proficient in Docker for application deployment and management.
• Experience working with third-party IT vendors and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders and attention to detail.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree: in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
