Taskforce Chief Engineer (Remote)

The Taskforce Chief Engineer provides interim engineering and maintenance support to hotel properties in need of short-term assistance. This role ensures operational continuity, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld while supporting the on-site engineering team with day-to-day repairs, systems oversight, and project management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. Support preventative maintenance schedules and complete work orders in a timely manner. Respond to emergency calls related to facilities and guest issues. Collaborate with property leadership to uphold brand standards and safety compliance. Provide guidance and hands-on support during transitions, openings, renovations, or leadership vacancies. Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: 3+ years in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety). Ability to travel and work flexible hours during assignments. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical ability. EPA certification, CPO license, or other trade certifications preferred.
