Position Overview:
We are seeking a sales professional! Our growing sales and business development efforts require a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Presales Engineer to lead all technical aspects of our sales processes and work closely with our customers, partners, prospects, and management. As a trusted adviser, this individual will often be in a position to lead conversations with top-level network engineers and sales leaders regarding the architecture of our Hyperlocal Global Network with our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical expert throughout the sales process, from initial customer engagement to successful implementation.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our platform, APIs, and connectivity solutions to customers and business partners.
Perform extensive hands-on troubleshooting, device-level diagnostics, and detailed log analysis, particularly addressing and resolving device module issues.
Prepare detailed responses to RFXs, ensuring accurate and persuasive technical proposals.
Manage end-to-end logistics and technical support for demo SIM programs, including provisioning, troubleshooting, and shipping SIM cards to trial customers.
Develop High-Level Design (HLD) documentation for tailored network infrastructure solutions, clearly outlining technical specifications and implementation strategies.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including integration teams, R&D, product management, architects, and security personnel to ensure smooth and successful deployments.
Provide exceptional customer service, proactively addressing customer inquiries, technical challenges, and solution implementation questions
Job Requirements:
7+ years of experience in a Presales Engineering role or equivalent technical sales position, ideally within a SaaS environment.
Experience working directly with mobile operators, enterprise customers, and telecommunications vendors is mandatory.
Comprehensive knowledge of cellular network architecture (2G through 5G), including deep familiarity with core network interfaces, signaling, and protocols.
Demonstrable expertise in hands-on device troubleshooting, log capture, and detailed technical analysis, specifically focused on cellular modules and device connectivity issues.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse, including non-technical, audiences.
Strong proficiency in API tools such as Postman, cURL, as well as productivity and design tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or Lucidchart.
Preferred experience with SIM technologies, including eUICC/UICC, multi-IMSI applets, Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP), and Subscription Manager Data Preparation (SM-DP+).
Familiarity with IPX/GRX networks
Strong proficiency in packet capture (PCAP) analysis using Wireshark, specifically for troubleshooting device connectivity, network registration issues, and identifying anomalies within mobile network interactions.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to effectively manage customer relationships.
Ability and willingness to travel periodically for onsite customer engagements, demonstrations, and technical validations.
