Responsibilities + Design new tooling for producing metal clips for ceiling tile products and grid systems. + Conduct 3D design of new, high-quality metal stamping dies. + Maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs, modifications, and research findings. + Prototype and develop high-quality metal stamping dies and tooling for high-volume manufacturing processes. + Create prototypes and test new tooling designs to ensure they meet production standards and specifications. + Utilize R&D/Shop equipment such as a Press Brake, Hydraulic Press, CNC Lathe, and Mill to build prototype tooling and dies. Essential Skills + Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing stamping processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment. + Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience in a progression of positions. + Proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for Solidworks, and other design tools used in tool and die making. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
