Overview: A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of public and private sector infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:

Lead or support the design of roadways, intersections, and other transportation-related infrastructure
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Conduct traffic studies and perform analysis using transportation modeling tools
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control
Assist in mentoring junior staff and reviewing technical work

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
3+ years of relevant transportation engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within reason
Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar software
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal transportation standards

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with state DOT standards and permitting processes
Experience managing small to mid-sized projects
Knowledge of drainage design, site development, or traffic signal systems is a plus
