This is a fantastic opportunity for a licensed Structural or Bridge Engineer with 10+ years of transportation design experience to step into a project leadership role, managing high-impact bridge and structural infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Lead the design of new and rehabilitation bridge projects using AASHTO LRFD design standards. Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Prepare contract bid documents and oversee construction phase services. Collaborate with subconsultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafting personnel to develop design excellence. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and other clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited program. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Maryland. 1015 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically with bridge design . In-depth knowledge of steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete structural systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software. Experience working on MDOT transportation projects . Strong verbal and written communication skills.
