We are seeking a Cisco UC Specialist to join our team and provide critical support at MacDill AFB, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the capabilities of voice, video, and unified communications within a secure, mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Your expertise will help ensure seamless communication necessary for operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Cisco Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure including CUCM, Unity Connection, Cisco IM & Presence, CMS, and Expressway C/E. Configure and maintain SIP trunks, H.323 gateways, SRST, CUBE, and MGCP for integration with DISA or tactical voice networks. Manage dial plans, route patterns, translation rules, calling search spaces, and device pools across secure and non-secure environments. Administer and troubleshoot collaboration endpoints, Jabber clients, TFTP services, and user provisioning via LDAP integration. Conduct patching, upgrades, and ensure compliance with STIG guidelines for all collaboration platforms as per DoD cybersecurity standards. Support VTC operations, including scheduling and endpoint assistance through CMS or hardware MCUs. Integrate collaboration services with Active Directory, PKI/certificate authorities, and DNS for secure authentication and service delivery. Provide Tier III escalation support and mentor junior team members in UC technologies. Participate in exercises and mission planning to align collaboration capabilities with MARCENT operational needs. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience (additional experience or certifications may substitute for a degree). Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI post-hire. Cyber Work Force Role Code 451 (such as Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications systems in DoD, government, or enterprise settings. Experience with DoD UC compliance efforts, including STIG implementation, ACAS scans, and RMF documentation. Proficiency in Cisco IOS, VoIP call flow troubleshooting, and SIP/H.323 protocol analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance. Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies and configuration. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration. In-depth knowledge and experience deploying various Virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V, Microsoft Virtual Server, VMWare ESX, and VMWare Server. Understanding of firewalls and their related services and security functions.
