Web Development Engineer
We're seeking a Web Development Engineer to design and implement scalable, web-based content architectures within our content management systems, including Highspot. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between information architecture strategy and technical implementation, ensuring our sales enablement content is organized intuitively and optimally for our Field teams.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Information Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical knowledge management configurations with effective structural and technical solutions
- Design, develop, and implement modern web and knowledge management solutions to enhance content delivery and user experience that align with requirements, field needs, and usage patterns
- Configure, optimize, and automate (where possible) content environments to support efficient content drafting, publishing, and prioritization for differing audiences
- Create and maintain documentation for content structure standards and implementation guidelines
A day in the life This person will be creating and/or enhancing Highspot navigational pages and templates (or other web-based pages/templates) to ensure our sales enablement content is structured effectively and is easily discoverable to our Field teams. This person will streamline building and publishing processes for content authors through tool and mechanism creation. You'll play a key role in optimizing how our teams publish, access, and utilize content to drive business success.
About the Team
The Knowledge Management and Governance (KMG) team is focused on providing the best experience for the Field related to their interactions with enablement content and the information they need to succeed in their roles. The team has three main functions:
- Provide content management and support for content owners across Sales, Marketing, and Global Services
- Establish and enforce content standards for the content available to the Field through AWSentral, Highspot, and Learn
- Enforce an information architecture and governance model that ensures for content freshness, quality, and alignment to requirements

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Highspot features and platform configuration
- Proficiency in modern web development technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
- Responsive design principles and implementation
- Web/LMM performance and search/discoverability optimization techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS Services and cloud-based solutions
- Knowledge of modern build tools and deployment processes
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Understanding of information architecture principles and best practices in the new AI era
- Excellence in logical thinking and problem-solving

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $173,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
