Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Electrical Engineer. This role involves the development and maintenance of computer and programmable logic control programs (PLCs) and heating and curing systems. The engineer will work closely with key stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements, ensuring the technology meets desired features and outputs. Responsibilities
Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating systems. Design, develop, and test new or improved products to meet quality and production objectives. Ensure compliance with necessary standards, including UL508A and CE. Research and evaluate software and hardware to facilitate programming. Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and system interfaces. Create test production environments and conduct tests to prototype, refine, and debug programs. Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for program development, logic, coding, testing, and changes. Troubleshoot complex electrical and logical systems. Provide troubleshooting support and technical assistance to internal and external customers. Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs. Prepare written cost estimations for internal customers. Essential Skills
Extensive experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting electrical interfaces. Proficiency in controls engineering, particularly with Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming. Strong background in electrical design, including AutoCAD Electrical. Ability to work with automated equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Experience programming on a variety of platforms. Hands-on electrical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and lab instruments. 10+ years of relevant experience. Work Environment
This is an onsite role with up to 30% travel required . Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Full benefits package is offered Workplace Type
