Responsibilities:
As a Radio Frequency Engineer, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders and vendors in the designing and implementation of in-building and venue new builds, modifications, and optimization; ensuring they're delivered on time, to specifications, and within budget. You will also drive the associated coordination with Real Estate, In-Building/Venue PMO, System Performance, Network Assurance, and external vendors. • Designing new solutions, improvements and capacity upgrades to meet KPI targets for venues and in-building. Partner with RE and Implementation. • Evaluating service performance trends and isolate root causes of impacted services via scripting and databases. • Providing software technical analysis and troubleshooting to markets and regions as requested. • Issuing search areas, conduct candidate assessments, and issuing approvals. • Partnering with System Performance to meet required performance objectives. • Supporting the resolution of customer complaints. • Assuming ownership for assigned projects; driving issues to resolution and proactively monitoring performance and conducting monthly deep dives with System Performance.
MUST HAVE SKILLS: • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Four or more years of relevant work experience. • Four or more years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry with direct experience in RF Design & Optimization for in-building and venues. • Minimum of level 2 Certification in iBwave. • Knowledge of RF theory and practice as well as LTE/VoLTE and 5G Technology. • 5G Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB), 5G Nationwide (NW), and LTE experience. • Experience with mapping software. • Experience with propagation modeling software. Advanced level experience in Atoll. • Knowledge in various RF tools such as TrueCall and Aiwave. • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. • A valid driver's license.
DESIRED SKILLS: • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. • Knowledge of Excel including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation, presentation skills and PowerPoint. • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Seamless adjustment to a dynamic, changing business environment. • Strong organizational time management, prioritization and project planning skills. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: iBwave Level 2 or higher certification
