Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Field Service Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical equipment and systems at client sites. You will serve as the face of the company during on-site visits, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and timely service.
Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites. Provide technical support for gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and pressure controllers used in semiconductor manufacturing. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure optimal system performance. Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures or malfunctions. Provide technical support and training to end-users and operators. Document service calls, including detailed reports and recommendations. Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve equipment reliability and performance. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Travel to customer locations, sometimes at short notice.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Associate Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Proven experience as a equipment service technician or engineer. 2-5 years of experience in a technical role related to gas delivery systems, mass flow controllers, and/or pressure controllers. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
