Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA) is an aerospace company specializing in long-endurance unmanned aerial platforms for a wide variety of industries. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys developing procedures and processes. You will be part of a fast-moving team executing vital tasks in support of the development, testing, and manufacturing of the KHA family of Ultra Long Endurance aircrafts. This individual should also be comfortable traveling and supporting flight operations when necessary. Responsibilities: Develop, document, and create manufacturing QC tests and equipment for robotics systems (jigs, fixtures, test boxes) Create and maintain manufacturing procedures and work instructions to enable efficient and repeatable manufacturing Work with cross-functional teams to improve system design and manufacturability Hands on R&D aircraft building and process optimization Design, develop, analyze, and implement equipment in order to improve manufacturing processes Identify problems and devise solutions Requirements: 3+ years of experience working with autonomous systems, autopilot systems, Ardupilot experience preferred 3+ year of experience developing manufacturing aids (jigs, fixture, test boxes) 3+ years of experience working with manufacturing documentation and process development Comfortable being hands on BS is related field Local to the Bay Area, commuting to Emeryville office required (CA) Ability to take ownership and drive projects/tasks to completion US citizen with the ability to obtain secret security clearance Plus: FAA Part 107 certified Model Airplane building/flying experience Veteran Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, Inc.
