Job Description

Job Description

We’re hiring a Product Engineer to help shape the future of our self-serve platform. You’ll be joining early as a foundational member of the Web Apps team, a small but focused group responsible for our SDK Studio and public API. This is a highly technical role where you’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle—from thoughtful design documentation to hands-on implementation across both UI and backend systems.

This is an in-person position based in New York City or San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

In your first 6 months, you will:

  • Lead major improvements to the SDK Studio with a focus on enabling intuitive self-serve functionality.
  • Build LLM-powered tools that streamline the path from OpenAPI spec to production-ready SDKs.
  • Design and build scalable, public APIs that serve as core infrastructure.
  • Help define and evolve a growing API framework.
  • Work closely with developers at startups, growth-stage companies, and enterprise organizations to understand pain points and needs.
  • Contribute to documentation, improve our website, and step in wherever needed to drive product success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and building full-stack applications with well-architected systems.
  • A strong track record of delivering modern web applications (e.g., using TypeScript, React).
  • Strong product intuition and user-centered thinking.
  • Deep empathy for developers and a passion for improving developer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SDK generation tools and OpenAPI specs.
  • Experience with the API tooling ecosystem.
  • Interest in or experience with developer relations—blogging, speaking, or community engagement.
  • Prior experience designing and managing APIs at scale.
  • Expertise in TypeScript (our preferred language).
  • Comfortable working across multiple programming languages (polyglot mindset).

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with generous equity grants.
  • Premium healthcare coverage, including fully-covered platinum plan options.
  • Commuter benefits and additional workplace perks.
  • Catered team lunches and meals during workdays.
  • Flexible paid time off, plus 3 weeks of company-wide vacation (2 weeks in December, 1 week in summer).
  • Hybrid flexibility with one fully remote month per year (“remote February”).
