Senior Chemical Process Engineer

Selectek is searching for a Senior Chemical Process Engineer in the Houston, TX area.

Required:

• 15+ years of experience as process engineer
• Experience in chemical plant design
• Able to act as project manager on small projects.
• Perform calculations, create specifications, and check the design of other engineers.
• Prepare and check drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, etc.)
• Put together manhour estimates and write proposals.
• Communicate with clients and maintain a healthy working relationship.
• Registered PE is a plus.

The candidate will manage projects, meet with clients, do calcs for relief valves using ATF aero software or similar software. They will mark up redlines and drawing of P&ID and PFDs.

Pay range: $48.07/hour - $57.69/hour

Term of assignment: 6 months temp to direct

Pay method when direct: hourly, $90,000 - $120,000

Hours and shift: 8AM 5PM CST (They can work any schedule they want.)

Work from home: Occasionally

Working remote: no

Overtime expected: possible

Travel: 25% local to Houston within 4 hours

Work attire: Business Casual
