Key Responsibilities: Engineering & Leadership: Serve as both an individual contributor and a mentor, guiding your teammates on the Cloud Platform Engineering team. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and uphold automated infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services. CI/CD & Deployment Automation: Build advanced CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment across diverse architectures. Cloud Architecture & Security: Ensure designs align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and comply with security protocols. Operational Excellence: Deliver high-quality solutions rapidly while managing complex requirements in dynamic environments. Strategic Planning: Develop tactical plans for IaC implementation across various levels of product maturity. AWS Security & Networking: Manage IAM policies, Security Groups, and VPC configurations to uphold cloud security. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders on design decisions and provide project updates to leadership. Innovation & Scalability: Create and implement AWS services utilizing Kubernetes and other related tools. Best Practices & Standards: Establish infrastructure design best practices to enhance consistency in engineering. Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally with 2+ years in a senior role. 10-15 years of experience in cloud automation and infrastructure development is preferred. AWS Security & Networking Expertise: At least 8+ years of experience managing IAM policies and security controls. Infrastructure as Code: Proven mastery of Terraform with extensive hands-on experience. CI/CD Pipelines & GitOps: 6+ years of experience in creating pipelines using GitOps and automation platforms. Kubernetes & Service Mesh: Strong experience in deploying Kubernetes and utilizing service mesh technologies. Cloud-Native Scaling: Knowledge of tools like Karpenter for automated scaling. Programming & Automation: 6+ years of coding experience in Python, Shell, or similar languages. AWS Cloud Services: Proficient in EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services. Additional Qualifications: Experience with Bedrock Data Automation and Knowledge Base is a plus. Understanding of AI Agents, particularly AWS-based agents.
