We are expanding our team to solve some of the most challenging automated driving problems and are seeking experts in product engineering of AI-based Autonomous Driving systems.The Senior Principal Engineer for AI-based Autonomous Driving Systems will leverage expertise to develop and deploy AI technology for automated driving at Bosch. Responsibilities include guiding development teams to establish functional architecture ensuring competitive performance, and collaborating with C-suite management to build organizational capabilities for product delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead Bosch's L2+ ADAS product development, focusing on state-of-the-art E2E AI architectures.Provide technical guidance to global development teams based on experience with bringing E2E AI L2+ ADAS products to market.Drive fundamental AI architecture design decisions and oversee their implementation.Enhance organizational capabilities to deliver safe, high-quality AI autonomous driving systems.Coordinate with data-driven software teams to ensure seamless AI integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product delivery.Stay informed on industry trends to foster innovation and continuous improvement.Basic Qualifications:Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.10+ years in data-driven software engineering and AI autonomous driving product development.Experience in product development and public road deployment of autonomous driving systems.Strong leadership and communication skills for R&D team collaboration.Knowledge of PaaS cloud approaches, e.g., MS Azure.Expertise in mapping AI models onto embedded, resource-constrained hardware.Proficiency in C++, Python.Track record of deploying complex AI systems at scale.Preferred Qualifications:Leadership experience with large, diverse, global project teams.Ability to interact with C-Suite to develop and implement vision.Knowledge of automotive standards like ISO-26262 and industry specifics.The U.S. base salary range for this position is $240,000 - $300,000, with individual pay based on experience, knowledge, role complexity, and location.
