Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced 5G Wireless Systems Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Job Summary:The Wireless Engineer will be responsible for deploying, testing, integrating, and supporting 5G wireless core network functions and related systems. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, interoperability, and service assurance for the company's wireless offerings. The Wireless Engineer supports documentation and troubleshooting while driving the wireless technology roadmap.Key Responsibilities: Deploy, test, and integrate new wireless core and 5G applications in lab and production environments Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and service assurance systems for wireless core networks Troubleshoot and resolve issues with 5G configurations and network applications (e.g., SMS, UDM) Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation including deployment guides and design documents Collaborate with downstream teams and support integration and system handoff activities Use Spirent Landslide and similar simulators for UE and network function testing; Scripting experience preferred Ensure 5G core network standards compliance, interoperability, and performance through rigorous testing Support ongoing enhancements to improve customer experience and operational efficiency Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience 2+ years hands-on experience with 5G wireless core networks and applications Experience with Spirent Landslide load testing and scripting tools Strong understanding of 5G Core network functions (AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, etc.) and protocols Familiarity with network monitoring tools and service assurance platforms Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and work collaboratively with multiple teams Strong documentation skills and ability to create clear technical guides and test documentation Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) a plus Experience with additional scripting and automation tools Prior work in wireless core test and monitoring systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
