Position Description We are seeking a Program Level Software System Engineer to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, focusing on Army Air and Missile Defense systems, especially Mission Command systems. The role involves working with contractors, government civilians, and system operators. Responsibilities Develop system-level features, emphasizing THAAD integration into the Army IBCS. Describe MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria to guide software implementation. Lead feature reviews and manage stakeholder comments. Utilize MBSE within an Agile workflow to document features. Qualifications Required: US Citizen and resident or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL. Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or related field. 7+ years of system engineering experience. Experience with THAAD, IBCS, tactical command and control, tactical weapons, sensors, software, hardware, requirements decomposition, or MBSE tools. Ability to work proactively in a team and Agile environment, engaging stakeholders effectively. Strong organizational and technical skills in system engineering principles. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Desired: Experience supporting DoD programs, especially in Army Air and Missile Defense. Experience creating models using Cameo or MagicDraw with SysML/UAF. Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence, and SAFe Agile practices.
