Job Description Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a Program-Level Software Systems Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL team. This position supports the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, focusing on Mission Command systems. The candidate will collaborate with contractors, government civilians, and system operators. Responsibilities include developing system-level features, focusing on THAAD integration with the Army IBCS, describing MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria to guide software implementation. The role involves leading reviews and managing comments on features, using an MBSE approach within an Agile workflow. Required Experience Basic Qualifications: US Citizen residing in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL. Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field. 7+ years of system engineering experience. Experience in areas such as THAAD, IBCS, tactical command and control, tactical weapons or sensor systems, requirements decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages. Ability to work in a team, in an Agile environment, engaging stakeholders to meet user needs. Strong organizational skills and a solid technical background in system engineering principles. Other Qualifications Experience supporting DoD programs, especially Army Air and Missile Defense. Hands-on experience with Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF. Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and SAFe Agile practices is a plus. Security Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
